Lead Qualification Questions for Window Companies
The Real Goal Build a question set that feels like genuine curiosity about the project, not a script being read at the homeowner. Ask This, Not That Ask “What’s making you look at this now?” — not skip straight to “How many windows?”

Ask This, Not That
Ask “What’s making you look at this now?” — not skip straight to “How many windows?” Motivation often explains urgency better than a raw count does. Ask “Is this a home you own, or are you managing it for someone else?” — not assume ownership and find out awkwardly later during scheduling. Ask “What days or times usually work best for you?” — not offer one slot and hope it fits. Flexibility asked for up front prevents a reschedule before the appointment even exists.
The Follow-Through Scope questions determine project size. Motivation questions reveal urgency. Service-fit questions (location, ownership, residential vs. commercial) confirm the lead belongs in the pipeline at all. Timing and appointment-logistics questions turn a qualified lead into a completed booking.
Skip This If Skip re-asking anything the homeowner has already volunteered. If they said “twenty original windows” in their first sentence, asking “how many windows?” two minutes later signals nobody was actually listening.
